We continue the celebration of our 25th Anniversary. If you have purchased our 25th Anniversary Discount Card, May is a FREE $10 class (class can be from the May - June Schedule), June is 25% OFF Stabilizers, July is 25% OFF all Christmas Fabrics. It is not too late to purchase a Discount Card. They are just $10 and will allow you to save through December!
Notions Now! These monthly sessions are on-line Webex webinars. That means that you will have the opportunity to register monthly on-line and attend the seminar hosted by Viking Sewing Machine Co. Here is a list of dates, topics and class times and the address that you will need to go to sign-up on-line. You can only register 1 week in advance of the class. Keep this list and mark on your calendar to check on the 1st Tuesday of each month to get signed up. For those of you that are new to this type of technology, make sure that you type the address in EXACTLY as it is written. Here it is:

July 14th - 19th Quilts, Wearables, Accessories will be on display at SEW BIZ for the annual Quilters Hall of Fame Celebration Week. This year we are inviting YOU to participate by sharing your talent through the display of your projects. We would like to have your projects brought in July 7th through July 12th at 10 a.m. We will be hanging the show July 12th after Block Party meets. But first … we need your information about your project by June 30th. We need your name, address, phone number, name of the item, pattern name and company (if used), description including special techniques, threads and notions used in the project, and value of the project (for insurance purposes). We would like to have all types of fabric & quilting related projects. This show is about YOU! There will be no judging of any kind. We look forward to seeing your projects.
Bring your family and quilting friends to the show July 14 - 19th!
Reminder: Supplies for our classes are to be purchased at SEW BIZ. In order to keep from increasing our class fees, it is important that the supplies for the classes be purchased here. Many shops charge double and more the amount of our class fees and we intend to keep our fees at the current rate; however, we need your support regarding supply purchases. Thank you !
Please note, we are in the process of changing our Website and there may be a period of time when it is down. Please understand while it goes under a renovation process. As always, call if you have questions. To avoid disappointment, register for classes early. Many times supplies need to be purchased in advance of class and there may also be homework.

SERGER CLASS - Mini Tree Skirt
1. May 8 Thurs. 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. $10.00
We will be making a tree skirt for a table top size tree. You will experience the rolled edge feature and several other techniques as we complete this project. This class is a basic class; however, if you have never worked with your serger, this would NOT be the class to start with. Please have a basic working knowledge of your serger and know how to thread it prior to coming to class. ALL BRANDS of sergers are welcome and encouraged to attend.

This little appliqué quilt will enhance summertime memories by brightening your backdoor or any place that needs a hint of the season. A kit is available for your convenience. An appliqué blanket stitch is used for the quilt top designs. Previous experience in appliqué is suggested. All brands of sewing machines welcome.

If you’ve ever wondered what to do with all those fantastic Viking accessory feet, this is the class for you! SEW BIZ now carries Floriani Stabilizers and Thread. This seminar hosted by Floriani will be the most informative seminar that you have ever attended on the topic of stabilizers. Even if you do not presently own an embroidery machine, the Floriani team will give you great information regarding proper stabilizers in all sewing situations.
