60. "Tossed 9 Patch" by Eleanor Burns
This quilt can be constructed with 5” charm squares or cut from yardage. You determine the size from 56” x 56” square (great for a tablecloth!) up to a King size quilt. In typical Eleanor Burns style, directions are very complete and this quilt is easy and fun to make. Start Date: May 17, 2010 Cost: $ 10.00

78. “SNOW FRIENDS” Table Runner
Basic quilt piecing and appliqué make this table runner a great project to refresh your skills or introduce you to piecing and appliqué techniques. Whether you are a beginner or experienced quilter, this project is sure to please. You will love the way the fabrics shade from dark to light and back to dark in the checker board style. We will be designing Quilt Labels in the Husqvarna Viking 4D Software. This will also serve as a great review or introduction to 4D Embroidery Extra. I would encourage EVERYONE who owns 3D or 4D Software to join us for this class. We have been asked many times to have a quilt labels class and this will be geared to creating and designing labels for your quilts; however, even if you do not make quilts, you will gain knowledge of the software. 88. MYSTERY QUILT Kick Off – “Magic of the Holidays”
We had so much fun with doing a Mystery Quilt last year that we have decided to do another one. We will be having our Kick – Off Party at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 6th. It is not required that you come to the Kick – Off Party to participate, but you will certainly miss the fun and the cookies and punch! The directions will come to you in the mail every 2 weeks beginning with July 6th and ending the week of September 14th. The quilt finishes 62” x 62”; however, you can add borders to make it larger. It would be perfect for a tablecloth, bed throw (quilt laid on top of a bed cover), etc. The KIT contains all of the fabrics for blocks, medallion center and borders plus the instructions for making the quilt. Backing and batting are extra and can be purchased at the Kick-Off Party if you would like. Register early so that you will not be disappointed. This MYSTERY QUILT will be limited to 25 participants. One time Kit and Participation Fee: 9.95 Note: Fabrics for this quilt are pictured here. The fabric on the right is a printed striped fabric and is used in a very interesting way in the blocks. 4 Designers * 4 Styles * 4 Fun! We are excited to announce the MINNESOTA ROAD SHOW coming to our shop on Saturday, July 10th 10 am – 1 pm AND Thursday, July 15th 6 – 9 pm. Four of Minnesota’s top designers, Debbie Bowles of Maple Island Quilts, Terry Atkinson of Atkinson Designs, Heather Mulder Peterson of Anka’s Treasures, and Linda Hohag of Brandywine Design have combined their talents to create a “teaching trunk show”. You will have a 20-30 minute demonstration of each of the designer’s techniques presented by a qualified instructor, including step-by-step instructions in a School House format, available tips, and of course, show and tell of original items from the designers. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to learn four new techniques in one exciting event! Start Date: July 10, 2010 Cost: $ 7.00
